The role of Deep Blue Marine Surveying Consultants is to provide advice on safety equipment for you and your family to have a safe boating experience. We advise on the equipment for use to ensure you are meeting all the legal requirements of your state or territory. We are able to offer this service with complete objectivity as we have no vested interest in any safety products.
All States and Territories have a Marine Safety Authority that is responsible for regulating recreational boating.
Areas covered include:
Carriage of safety equipment
Fitting of an Australian Builders Plate
HIN numbers and other anti-theft measures
Registration of certain classes of boats
Rules governing the carriage and use of marine radio and other means of communication, such as EPIRBs

International rules on collision avoidance, including any additional local requirements
The team at Deep Blue are able to offer advice not only on safety equipment but also on cathodic protection for you vessel. How to install it and ensure it has been set up to protect your vessel from the effects of corrosion; some examples are galvanic corrosion, stray current corrosion or caustic attack to both wood and aluminum.
Installation of holding tanks to comply with environmental regulation's pertaining to the discharge of sewerage into our oceans and river systems.
